Tisha Germany is the Assistant Vice President for KBK Enterprises – Pittsburgh. She has been working in community development for 12 years. She is experienced in working with both public and private entities, such as The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh. She has been involved in creating numerous federal funding applications as well as worked with the Pittsburgh Housing Authority in creating mixed income communities through HOPE VI, tax credit and use of capital funds. She has been able to lead development efforts in some of the city’s most underserved communities with development projects totaling over $200 million. Tisha graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a dual degree in Communication Science and African Studies.
Prior to joining the KBK team, Tisha worked as an Assistant Project Manager for Affirmative Investments. During her tenure she handled underwriting for real estate projects and request for proposals, prepared construction and development budgets, created Section 3 and MWBE submissions, prepared land closing documents for new projects and organized community meetings.
Tisha serves as a member of Pressley Ridge, an international organization based in Pittsburgh that serves children and families in crisis. She also serves on other organizations to promote business and economic development in underserved communities. She was a 2011 recipient of The New Pittsburgh Courier’s “40 Under 40 Award”. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
Tisha is married to George Germany and has a son and a daughter, Quincy and Maia.
