Mike McCroskey is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked in the affordable housing industry as a Chief Financial Officer and operating officer for 14 years. Mike’s experience in developing, financing and operating multifamily housing includes new construction and acquisition/rehab projects throughout the U.S., and also includes structuring the deals with numerous partners, including government entities, syndicators, investors, and debt providers.
He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Real Estate Development for KBK Enterprises and its affiliates. He oversees the entire real estate development process from acquisition, financing, construction and property management in five cities. He also works with public and private funding entities, as well as non-profit and for-profit developers.
Mike attended Wright State University where he earned his Accounting degree. He also obtained a Masters of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
In his previous role at Paramount, Mike served as Senior Vice President and Director of Underwriting. He managed permanent finance transactions in over 300 Low Income Housing Tax Credit real estate projects in 30 states and U. S. territories. Additionally, he led 50 underwriters, construction analysts, market research analysts, credit and finance staff, and outside legal counsel. He was responsible for closing one of the largest projects to date in our KBK portfolio, Marrero Commons (formerly known as BW Cooper) in New Orleans, LA. The estimated total project cost for this development is over $250 million. Mike has a unique wealth of knowledge in finance, acquisition and construction.
When he is not closing deals, he enjoys horseback riding with his wife Rebecca and their two daughters, Regan and Emily.
